EXPLORING and KNOWING...
Because I don't have a camera that time in my first day in the PCA, I returned to view my first day in the Philippine Coconut Authority or PCA as an OJT. The first Entered in my mind is to Explore and Knows the different wide point of the office, the different sections of the office, their facilities and some employees in the office. So I have some photos below that I take recalling my first day in the Philippine Coconut Authority.
This is the front view of the office.. And this is their flagpole and the seedlings of the coconuts.
That is Mano Rico, wearing stripe t-shirt.. He is the person in charge at the lobby first you enter in the office and also the DTR keeper of the employees.
He is the first employee there that i meet when i first go there and give my recommendation letter for my OJT.
The photos below are the parking lot of the of the PCA and the areas where the supply for the office are stored like furnitures. Also spoiled goods but can still avail like vehicles and other machineries.

REGULAR TaSks
The regular tasks that given to me at office are encoding memo, advisory, purchase request and events that will be posting on their bulletins board etc. using Microsoft Word 2007. Also using Microsoft Excel 2007 with sometimes there are computations that need an accurate computation so thanks to my subject OFFPRO 1 because I learned how to use the different formulas that is very important for an accurate computation. Especially if money is concern. Also making presentation for the Regional Managers of the Philippine Coconut Authority for their meetings, seminars conference etc. using Microsoft Power Point Presentation.
At First, I done many errors in my office works, but so far I have not lost because I said to myself that "this is it !! this is called experience.." hehe,, So with the passing several days of my office work, I had confidence in myself with a help of an employee there name "Jay-R, whose work there is an computer maintenance and other office work related to computer. Even even fixing if there is a damage of computer because as I know to him, he graduated at TESDA as a computer technician. For me, he is a big help for me and the blessing in disguise for my additional knowledge in computer..
"That is Jay-ar , one of the Employee in the Philippine Coconut Authority . He is the person I'm talking about in the upper paragraph.."
And the photo below are the accomplished task that are given to me..
Congrats to myself !! hehehe..
First, I Encode the wordings there and for adding my creativity, I designed the borders using color pentelpen. hehe..
First, I Encode the wordings there and print in an colored bond paper then cutout and then paste it in a cardboard and post in their bulletin..
Also in this photo below.
Allright !!! that all.. but actually there are so many other tasks that i accomplish but i cant post here, only the camera is my problem because I am only RENTING a camera in my neighbor for 50 pesos per 1 day..tsk.. tsk.. tsk..
wish ko?? "hhmm sana magkaroon na ako ng digital camera..." heheh..
Going to Office...
Going to Philippine Coconut Authority at Baras, Palo Leyte for me are burden in my pocket because the fare now is increasing and from my home I have to commute two rides from my home going to office where I work as an OJT. But I have to sacrifice,, because I believe that this is a part of my experience too, to learn how to save my money as a self supporting student at STI Tacloban taking up the course of Diploma Iformation Technology (DIT).
The following photos are my daily commuting options going to Philippine Coconut Authority
Thats all for my daily transporting going to Philippine Coconut Authority.
But anyway, for more information of the readers of this regarding about my commuting options,
there is another option to commute going to PCA, taking a ride of a jeepney with a route of Gov't Center where the said jeepney will pass ahead at the office. That commuting strategy is less cost but wasting time because the said jeepney will queue on the terminal and not to fill the passengers journey.

First ride,.. from Sagkahan to corner going to Gov't Center. I'm going to take a ride a multi cab with a fare cost 7pesos now because of increase fare.
Second Ride,..From the road to Gov't Center where i get off, I am going now take a ride an pedicab or "Pot-Pot" with a fare of 6pesos.
